By revitalizing a family room and bar space, we blended modern and classic elements that pay homage to the home's history and the client's personal style. To address the dated, white-washed paneled walls, we introduced a classically tufted ottoman with a modern silhouette, as well as carefully curated bookshelves, while retaining the original fireplace. The roughed-in space above the garage was transformed into a full-service entertainment area with an emphasis on lighting and bar functionality. The updated floor plan now accommodates large gatherings, while the loft, adorned with window seats and swivel chairs, reflects a modern aesthetic and maximizes seating for a dynamic living space.

Conclusion
Our updated family room floor plan created a space that was conducive for family gatherings and had flexibility to entertain, as well as still serving as a quiet space in which to relax. The loft now looks much more modern, with window seats and swivel chairs to maximize seating and entertaining opportunities.
